Kenzo Kross is dead.

I want to thank all of you who came out and supported our attempt at racing cyclocross in Kensignton. I thought it was a great idea, and we had almost 40 different racers, but the past few weeks have had single diget turn outs at the races. I do not think it is fair for some people to come across town on their Wednesday night to find that there is no one to race against, so unless we made it more formal, I do not think that we should continue for this season.

With the waning turn outs, and the potential for the weather to get worse, I think it is best if we just call it for the year.

We had a bunch of fun at these races, and it makes me think that we can have more events like this in the future. Besides all of the fun we had, we also raised almost $100 for the Livestrong foundation!

Thanks and I will see you at the races!

Its a damn shame is what it is. Alley Cat style cross races are where its at! So what if yer not gaining points for this years mid-atlantic series, these event are what riding your bike is all about…HAVING FUN! Guess you guys missed the boat on that fact. Call me crazy, but riding mi bike on a brisk November evening sounds way more appealing than Cycle-Ops or rollers training any day. Saps!!!

Fernando hit the nail on the head. People wont drive across town and drop $5, but they will drive to the hamptons and drop $30 per day and have to get a room. People are missing what this bike stuff is all about.

I’m starting a petition to keep it moving! Everyone I know should be pestered until they come out on Wednesday night!
