Bike Part Art Show Benifts NBW

This Friday, the Neighborhood Bikes Works will put on the 8th annual Bike Parts Art Show. This show benefits the NBW through your $5 donation at the door. With the cold weather setting in and the holidays a flutter, you need something to divert your attention to all the Ho Ho Hoing around town, and this is the perfect place to do it. Artists from all over the country celebrate not only the bicycle, but they also apply their craft using parts that were destined for the landfill. They have repurposed or reused many parts that are buried deep within our junk bins to make art that you could actually purchase. Remember, the more you buy, the more kids can get out on bikes. In the past the art has covered many mediums including  paintings, sculptures, jewelry, prints, tshirts, furniture, and more. There is truly something for everyone. If you are not looking for some art, you could still come out and drop $5 to partake in some beer, snacks, and music that will keep the party going all night.
If you are interested in sponsoring the show, or you are looking for some more info, contact artshow@neighborhoodbikeworks.org or give a call to 215-386-0316.
