I started surlyrider.com years ago in the same vein as ifrider.com I wanted a place where folks could show off their different surly bikes. I thought it was a cool idea, but I had no real way to promote it, and due to a lack of interest from other folks, it died off. shortly after I started a blog for myself since I was reading so many of my friends accounts of their life, I just had to write one to keep everyone updated with my life. Well…I got accepted to the University of Pennsylvania, changed jobs, and beceame really busy. Blogging was quickly no longer a priority. Well I am done with school, setteld in my job, and not as busy. I also am motivated. I spent the last weeked with some pretty awsome souls and I have a million missions that I want to undertake due to the influence of some of the rad people I met last weekend.
